Henry Gwiazda is a composer/new media artist. Since 1986, he has worked with sampling and sound effects to create a unique musical language that is derived from the interior musical characteristics of noise itself. In 1995, he extended his interest of sampling natural sounds to include a sampling of all phenomena that has movement: a comprehensive artistic approach that has resulted in work that is multimedia in nature. These new works make use of new media to create a virtual realism that is focussed on movement.

there's whispering…… is about the secrets we all have.
On another level, it is about the relationship of sound to image in a non-narrative sense. How does visually imagery and music combine in an abstract work to create something larger than either of the two alone? The visuals are composed in a musical way using counterpoint and musical phraseology. |
