Gideon Barnett's work has been exhibited internationally, including solo shows in Nantes, France and Johnson City, Tennessee. In addition, he has participated in numerous group shows including, most recently, Dimensione Massima 10x12 at the FotoGrafia Festival Internazionale di Roma. His photographs have been published by The Magenta Foundation, Tiny Vices Books, Columbia College and Humble Arts Foundation.

Google's mapping imagery has begun to overlap my personal archive. Their database now includes a number of my photographs in varying degrees of resolution. Rephotographic Survey consists of pairs of photographs comprised of an original photograph made by me and a Google Street View photograph of the same location with the same composition. |
